Bright African colours with an interesting storyline. Dipnoi is a fish found in Africa and South America. Dipnoi means “double breathing” they have gills and lungs. When the rivers dry up in the summer months the Dipnoi bury themselves into the mud left behind. The mud dries and the fish shuts down. They can stay in this suspended state for upto 4 years, and when the rains come the Dipnoi come back to life, enjoying the life giving waters once again.
